I have had an Ivatt 2MT on pre-order for quite a while too. On the positive side, I think the pre-order price is significntly less than the evntual release price.

I'm still waiting for my   http://www.ehattons.com/38749/Graham_Farish_372_676_4_CEP_class_411_4_Car_EMU_in_BR_Green_Southern_Region_with_Yellow_Warning_Panels/StockDetail.aspx from the last catalogue.

Had an e-mail from Hattons saying they are expecting these in tomorrow!  (with a warning that items don't always arrive when expected!)

Skyline2uk

Has anybody heard when either of these are due to turn up?

....for that read any flask, not bothered on specifics....

http://www.ehattons.com/38887/Graham_Farish_377_700_JJA_Mk2_Auto_Ballaster_Generator_Unit_Railtrack/StockDetail.aspx

.....with these I expect all the versions would arrive at once?

I think these would be great for variety on my layout :-)

Graham Farish 2012/3 Anouncements Today:

Not confirmed on the Bachmann Website yet but understood from other sources to include:

New Locos:
LNER A2 Class 4-6-2
Class 70 Powerhaul
Class 37/4

New Replacements for former Farish (Poole) Locos:
SR Mechant Navy (Streamlined) 4-6-2
LMS Princess Coronation 4-6-2 (non streamlined)
BR 80xxx 4MT 2-6-4T
Class 55 Deltic

New Upgraded Chassis for existing body casting:
GWR 57xx / 8750 0-6-0PT

New Rolling Stock
Bulleid coaches (Types TBC)
Mark 2A coaches (Types TBC)
Mark 1 FK (First Corridor)
Mark 1 Horsebox
LMS CCT 4 wheel van
24T iron ore hopper
Polybulk hopper

So a fair amount of the speculation above would seem to be correct! (Class 70, A2, 37/4) and a few 'wishlist' items fulfilled (Bulleid, Mk2 coaches)

Suprises - the MN given Dapol are doing at the Light Pacifics (or is it a deliberate 'spoiler') though I suppose GF would want something of their own to go with the Bulleid coaches, The Standard 4MT Tank - OK a few parts in the box already from the 3MT and Std 4 Tender loco but personally I would have preferred a Fairburn or Stanier version of the 2-6-4...

Seems quite conservative on the loco front this year, but lots of interesting coach stuff.

The Mark 1 horsebox is a real oddity - it's already around as a very good kit, but its an obscure very narrow period vehicle. I would have thought the Mark 1 CCT would have been a more obvious choice.

Damn - with a Standard 5 and the Austerity on pre-order, looks like the wallet's gonna take a pounding (again ::)) ;D

Yes, Locos not particularly ambitious but should be achievable...

Coaches - Bulleids and Mk2 add variety and should be popular. My dissapointment there is the continued lack of the 60ft Staniers...

Hi Gang;

Quite a good list..

The 37/4 will have to be a slight re-tool and the Mk2a coaches...FINALLY!!!
Watch out for loads of older 37s hitting the 'Bay' :smiley-laughing:
Be nice to see the 70 in a couple of numbers
Deltic seems to be experiencing an upsurge in popularity so a good choice for a re-tool.

No word on re-liveries....missing a trick on 57/3, DB 60 and multiple 66 reliveries.
New tooled 47 not saying much either...

Polybulk will spell the death of the NGS kit I think.
LMS Coronation could be a  Rule 1  loco....

I've just seen a Facebook post on model rails pre announcement announcement that mk2  a's are on the list if so I'm well happy,,,,

Hi Stu

If it is the same as the 4mm Polybulk then it is a different (shorter IIRC) Polybulk to the NGS kit ie the ones used for calcified seaweed, china clay, lime etc rather than the grainflow ones.

Cheers, Mike

StufromEGDL

Hi All;

Looks like the 60 IS to get DB Red (60011) and Metals (60029) according to the other sources.

A different Polybulk would seem sensible....

Not quite the same but the Farish website also has the LMS 50ft full brakes listed, though I can't see them mentioned in the announcement.
