Hi Guys;

I'm hoping that 66434 in the latest Malcolm livery is a shoe-in for later in the year as an additional model, but missed the announcement due to the very recent appearance of the 1:1 version.
As a guide to lead in times, look what number has been chosen for the DBS 60.....

Well I've got my Dapol A4 Silver Link on order - but an A2 by Farish in LNER green is also very tempting!  ;D  I have quite a few Dapol and Trix Gresley carriages so moe mainline loco's to pull them are good!

However what I would really like is some suburban coaches.  :(

I notice the new 60s are listed as "6 DCC" instead of "6 PCB" which is nice for those of us too lazy/petrified to take a soldering iron to a locomotive.

The MkIIs are a long time dream come true.  Now I just need a re-tooled 25 and 40 and a shrunk 85 and my sensible wish list will be complete.

Has anyone else ever completed their N gauge wish list?  I wonder what happens?  Does a big GAME OVER sign appear and we all have to wait for N gauge 2 to come out?

Perhaps if they ever shrank their V1 they might consider suburbans, but they're not really the thing for A1 to A4s.

i would like a 37/4, a rake of Mk2A's, a class 60, and some polybulks...

i can afford none of these items!!!!

i still have on my list to buy a class 101 dmu and some class 20s...

i should have built a micro layout for shunting locos only and a few wagons... would have saved a lot of money....

I know - but I have some nice kits of smaller locos to make up that would suit a rake of suburbans!

Nowt wrong with a few more 37s to choose from - nice to see a Network Rail one to haul my coaches around with! The OO boys are getting some 47/7s this year in NSE and Scotrail, so here's hoping they go through the shrink-ray for next year  :)

No more EMUs, which is a shame - I think they are waiting to see how well the CEP and 350 sell before going on to do some more. I still fancy a 350 after spending a good stretch of time on the WCML between Crewe and Nuneaton a couple of weeks ago. Fabulous units.

Mk2a coaches - long overdue and the Bulleids will be welcome by Southern fans. With Dapol doing a West Country and Battle of Britain this year, Farish's MN completes the trio. I think that Dave Jones may well be prevailed upon to re-release the Q1 and M7 again, as we could be seeing a Southern resurgence.

Retooled Class 55 - the blurb indicates that the real one has been laser-scanned, which is a surprise seeing as the 4mm model hasn't been around for too long. Mind you, it's never looked quite right to me  for some undefinable reason, so an all-new design is good news. Do we have a drooling smiley?

hi all

its good to see that they are re-tooling the 4MT 2-6-4T

just wished they had done the Fairburn 2-6-4T instead as there were a lot more of these around the Lancashire area

also looking at their site i noticed quite a few models have been dropped from the steam loco's

i would also have liked an all new 8F but i will have to wait for that one  :(

Doesn't have to be a micro layout. You can model most of the Cambrian coast and large chunks of Scotland with a pair of 158s, a 37 and a few wagons ;)

Oooh.  Green Deltics, and looks like a date (ish) against the green and wasp-stripes gronk that seems to have been "coming soon" everywhere for ages.  I'm supposed to be spending my money on tools and scenery and electronics and stuff to actually *build* my layout, but those may well tempt.  And having seen my soldering attempts trying to put droppers onto track at the weekend, I'm not sure I'm up to chipping the 08 just yet...
