The old Farish 20 is great as a target - its a cast metal body and removable nose so both bits easy to paint. The cast body can be stripped pretty much an indefinite number of times in any strength of stripper without damage.

There are plenty of things in liveries I'd not try and paint however - SECR for example, or GWR clerestory coaches. I've got some designs for LNWR six wheelers too but I can't imagine anyone wanting to paint LNWR liveries in N !

I'd put a pint on one or both of the 50' LMS coaches done in OO appearing now they have the chassis - ie full brake and maybe kitchen car.
Your Pint is safe there Alan - the Full Brake was anounced last year!

the latest rumours I've heard are likely to be something LMS as well as new Blue Riband tooling for old Farish models (4F?).
As per my post of 3 weeks ago, confident there is something LMS in the existing range getting re-done...

I was told by a Bachman rep to expect an upgrade of something of interest to me...

That could mean the 4F but could just as easily be the Compound or Jinty...

With regard to something NEW for the LMS, it would be logical to follow the already anounced BR 2-6-4T with the Stanier or Fairbairn equivalent but my 'wishlist' model would be the Stanier 2-6-0...

Seems like what a lot of people want is new liveries on existing models - I surprised no-one bothers these days to repaint models themselves (are there no modellers left on the forum?  :D ).

I'm more interested in all new products and the latest rumours I've heard are likely to be something LMS as well as new Blue Riband tooling for old Farish models (4F?). What with also shrinking down their existing OO range (2EPB?)that leaves a lot of options . . . . .  .

H.

There are some still here who repaint and make kits so that they have the models they need. I have even been known to modify a white metal kit body and an available chassis to produce a loco that is not available. But in the end a ready to run always comes along. I must start to repaint my 73/0 green.

I would have preferred a 2HAP to a 2EPB but converting the trailer to a rerasonable look alike appears quite easy at first thoughts. It is too much to expect a 2BIL.

Been watching this a while but not posted so far so here goes.

Im not holding high hopes. There has been so many things in past catalogues that still arent here so why look in the catalogues at items that may not be here for several years. Not wanting to have a go at bachmann as dapol do it too. But seems to be something that is happening more and more. and Im probably not the first to say it.

Although I will have a gander at the catalogue when it arrives haha.
OK who took my cake?

Pity the class 25's are the original body style rather than the revised one.

I suppose we'll get one of those eventually though.
