Would love a SWT 444 but will settle for a SWT 450. Like to see a reissue of the SWT Express too. There are other EMUs that I'd like but the chances of them appearing are probably zilch
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

A 2EPB? I can see a 2HAP conversion coming! Lets wait and see.

NSE '47 and an Intercity one without those hideous yellow cab ends, that's about all I need :)

That would be nice. I am rather hoping that they will shrink City of Truro down to N gauge now that they have a motor small enough to drive it.

The only rumour I have heard is that there may be an NBL class 43 Warship. I am a WR man so that is nice enough but not visually greatly different to the existing Swindon version.

Well, that's just not good enough. Some fount of all knowledge you are!   ;)

Looking at the Bachmann 00 range (with much envy!) i would love them to put a shrink ray on the Network Rail Yellow livery Class 57. I would love to see this in N.

Sadly not this year
When I asked at Model Rail Scotland what plans there are to add to the existing (three) modern image Class 47, there are none as they are waiting for existing stock being used up (and don't even get me started on the updated Class 37/4)
As a result I have had to resort to repainting the Titan and Rowland Hill versions as this is now the only option this year

They could certainly do a 43 - their tooling appears to be slightly confused already. They'd have to offer it unmotorised too however as their main use would be in a siding or being towed away.

The NR 57 seems an obvious option I agree. They've already talked about doing Bulleid coaches and I'd put a pint on one or both of the 50' LMS coaches done in OO appearing now they have the chassis - ie full brake and maybe kitchen car.

Presumably the revised Jinty, 31 and 55 will make their "official" appearance in the catalogue and maybe the 70. Wonder if they sold enough DMUs for the 105 to get done in N.

S&D 7F would be nice (zero chance I know ;))

Have to agree with you there, Alan. According to Old Oak apprentices the 833's were better union members, one engine stopped the other came out in sympathy!

Thats why Laira kept the 800's, they were more reliable.

Seems like what a lot of people want is new liveries on existing models - I surprised no-one bothers these days to repaint models themselves (are there no modellers left on the forum?  :D ).

I'm more interested in all new products and the latest rumours I've heard are likely to be something LMS as well as new Blue Riband tooling for old Farish models (4F?). What with also shrinking down their existing OO range (2EPB?)that leaves a lot of options . . . . .  .

I'd quite like a NR 57 but would require a re-tool so the dellner coupling will be present. Also i don't want them to do 57312 as per OO as the real one has recently been withdrawn!

If they did re-tool it then I would welcome a DRS one too :D

Main reason why i dont want Farish to announce a new NSE 47 and Mk1 coaches,
I'm hoping to modify and repaint a rake of mk2's aswell to go with a Dapol 50

Without seeming greedy more EMU options would be nice, (just not a refurbished 4-CEP yet im making one of those too  :D )

Bachmann have just produced a totally re-tooled 40 in OO - be a shame for all that CAD work to go to waste.  :)

Indeed, as a celebrity loco which I don't think has been made before, I propose D200, in BR Green, with full yellow nose ends, as per the mid-1980s livery, please.

I'd like it very much if BachFar could put the 1980s-era BR Blue Class 85 through the shrinking machine, too. Like the Class 70, that would be a lovely loco to have.

And the Windhoff, too...

:D

Very nice work on the Mk1s . . . . .  such work will no doubt encourage Bachmann  ;D

I agree that more EMU options would be very nice . . . . particularly SR 3rd rail types and especially a 2-EPB.  ;)

As stated in a previous thread I would be far too picky to put up with a second-rate paint job, which is what a home repaint would be. Happier to wait however long it takes for a proper job from the factory ;)

Not necessarily. Fratton is making a very good and acceptable job of his repaints. You do need to practice and it's best to on old cheap models although, of course, a bad paint job can be removed and re-done. Some of the home DIY paint jobs I've seen are actually better and more accurate than the factory finish, so they don't have to be second rate.
