Ooh, never heard that one before. Cool!

That was when Roy Wood was with them. I have it on 45 :)

It's hard to believe that this classic came out nearly 50 years ago. Al Stewart peaked with "Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages" (IMO). YOTC was produced and recorded by Alan Parsons and had some really good session musicians on it. So here he with the title track...

I have his last studio offering but it is nowhere near as good.

Like that. Brings back memories. Never ever was an ELO fan, though. Sorry!
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

This is purfectly daft, look away Poppy @Train Waiting ...

No cats were hurt during the making of this film... although some became a bit paranoid!

PS John - this is Black Sabbath playing "War Pigs", probably not a disc in your collection

Golly-gosh, Tim; that was truly dreadful. What a racket! And you are completely correct; I don't have that gramophone record.

I'll need to compose myself after that gratuitous assault on my eardrums. Some Elgar first, then, I think, Dolly Parton, Reba and the Lynns, both of them. Maybe even a nice bit of ABBA.

Poppy declined to view the video - she has much more sense than me. But you knew that.

With all good wishes.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

A bit of an eclectic mix this morning but I just had to play this track much loved by (Whispering) Bob Harris and Johnnie Walker

My continuing thanks to Tim @Moonglum for his recommendation of Blackfield. I now have several tracks of theirs in my collection :)
