RIP Ozzy, here he is with Black Sabbath performing a more laid back offering from the album "Paranoid"...

Deep Purple did get some "help" and within four years were producing such classics as this...

Probably a bit too noisy for @port perran !

I actually quite like the studio version of Smoke on the Water.

I've been listening to Balthvs from Colombia lately.
If you are familiar with , and like, Khruangbin then you might well like Balthvs.

Gentle rockiness with a kind of Middle Eastern/Latin American vibe,

See what you think.

Nice one Martin @port perran , it's got a good groove and a lot of wah-wah!

Otis Redding is naturally better known for '[Sittin' on] the Dock of the Bay' but, having just watched the excellent film 'Stormy Monday' with a heavyweight cast including Sting, Tommy Lee Jones, Sean Bean, Melanie Griffiths and James Cosmo, Otis was played on a jukebox singing 'I've been loving you too long'. Great song and great voice.

RIP Tom Lehrer
.
I saw him in 1978 and he was brilliant.
