In anticipation of the forthcoming release of the Farish 372-775A Wainwright C class in SECR green livery, I've purchased an immaculate used set of Birdcage coaches from Footplate models in Kidderminster. Great price and great service, let down only by Royal Mail being 24hrs later than they promised (RM, not Footplate)

I endorse Footplate Models. They always provide great service.

Again, in anticipation of the Farish C class in SECR livery arriving Qtr 1 next year, I snapped up some SECR liveried wagon packs from Model Railways Direct at 35% off RRP. Ordered Saturday 15th Nov and arrived today 18th so great service from them and RM.

Hello Newport ,

yourself and many others seem to buy a lot of rolling stock from different eras and regions. What do you do with them as you cannot run them all? I've 6 locos and do not have the time to run them all.

Newportnobby

@geofff
With my main layout being based loosely on Oxford I have 4 different regions to cater for over the transition era of, say, 10 years or so of varying liveries. I tend to buy what I like even if it doesn't fit those criteria, along with other purchases of such classics as the Kato class 800 and the Dapol original livery HST. I also have other items bought from early days of manufacturers e.g. Rapido/Revolution Pendolino and others to keep newer manufacturers believing there's a market for N gauge out there e.g. Sonic
I don't have all the latest gadgets, don't have foreign holidays and live according to my means :)

Great minds.....I've also done the same Nobby although I already have the C from the first batch. Now thinking how to add a bit of variety to my pre grouping goods train, starting with some iron minks that I read elsewhere have arrived at Rapido UK. I have an early GWR set and the G Fawkes single on order as a start

You could add some Mathieson Models private owner coal wagons, or some N Gauge Society Midland Railway outside frame box vans

I have a BR triple pack and a G.Fawkes single on order. Sounds like I'll be seeing them soon, then.

I'm just trying to access Model Railways Direct, but get 403 forbidden. Maybe no overseas orders, then.
