Thanks for the heads-up  :thumbsup:  I shall watch-out for any issues - detail parts are a worry too TBH  :uneasy:

Agreed. The smoke box door handrail vanished from my Dapol Terrier last week :*(
This despite it being wrapped in polythene and handled with care

Yes, I know. I shouldn't have, but I couldn't resist.

Been looking at the pair for a couple of years on the Bachmann club site, but just can't justify them, too much on order from Revolution. I think they are really cool

I've seen them on the club site too, but this is from a Sheffield retailer who apparently has access to the remainders (?) and keeps sending me interesting emails with lots of nice pictures, and it just seems impolite not to buy something occassionally! Besides, I have somehow resisted the '38s.

@Newportnobby

"It's the '38s man, the '38s man."

Sorry. Too much Aussie colloquialism.

Very Nice  8)

Did a cab ride on that loco at the Epping Ongar Railway Diesel Gala 2 years ago. Was with D8001 in multiple. Was from Ongar, so was nice to hear them both going up the hill...

Found these for sale on offer at a discounted price, Class 158 Regional Railways sprinter & Class 47 both sound fitted. The Colas livery is not for me so hopefully I can do a body swap with one of my BR Blue Class 47's.  :)

Well, not long after seeing this I got an email from the Bachmann club with a very special price on buying the pair.

So very much a rule 1 purchase, but rude not to accept the offer from Bachmann, I had thought about these when they launched them, and as George said they are rather nice. So in with the credit card and here we go.
Now chipped and all being well will get run in at the club tomorrow.

Very smart, indeed. I'd like to find a way of closer coupling, easy if they're NEMs :hmmm:
