luckily they are NEM's and will be changed for Hunt couplings, however as the couplings are bogie mounted I will have to use the pivoting ones. Luckily some arrived last week.

Could we please have 'before' and 'after' pics for comparison?

Graham

Will do, although it may be a while as I am travelling for work and holiday for the next 4 weeks.

Following me placing an ad on the N'Porium for a blue class 31 and blue suburban coaches, @mk1gtstu came up trumps with this lovely thing weathered by the man himself and a driver placed in the cab. It arrived today and is a good runner. (Pic from the vendor)

In the meantime @Bob G has done the biz on the blue suburbans which I should see early next week so pics to follow.

The N'Porium works for you!!

Having long ago sold 99.9% of my Dapol 66s to fund replacements from Revolution Trains, I'm so pleased to start receiving the first of my new fleet.

Bit too modern for me, but lovely models nonetheless.

Been a while since I was on this thread, but this is a loco / livery combination I have long been after.

At least three years worth of TINGS and Warley Bachmann suggestions for a Swallow "47/8" (ok TOPS fans, 47/4), and my second cross country rake is complete.

So far it's a delightful runner, so much so I am wondering if it's got more chassis changes than just a next 18 socket when compared with the last batch.

Massive thanks to @Bob G for the arrival today of a set of Farish weathered blue suburban coaches. These, with my blue class 31, complete the look of trains seen at Kings Cross at the suburban platforms before they vanished into the the maw of Gasworks Tunnel

Hope you find something at TINGS you want @Bob G

That could be difficult because what I want has been on pre-order for what seems a decade and unless Adam Warr @Adam1701D is dressed as Father Christmas and has five early crest/late crest BB/WC locos in boxes ready for collection, or Ben @Ben A has a couple of 313 PEP units in blue-grey for me, I doubt that TINGS will surprise me.

Also I'm in selling mode right now, as I have to make space for the stuff that's on order.

In reality, I only go to meet NGF folk, see the trade stands, and eat a pastie in the restaurant. Makes me feel human to meet people in the flesh, as it were.

Hi Bob,

The 313s aren't quite ready to ship yet but we will have a production sample on display.  Plus we will have EP1 samples of the K-type Pullmans that you've helped us with.

cheers

Ben A.

Graham

Just had this little beauty turn up, unusually there was no notice from @revolution.

So very much a very pleasant surprise.
