Yes, I've done the oiling 😀 I have a whole litter of Terriers and a few other Dapol locos so I know the drill.

I thought you would have done, Veronica. Just checking as you know what we blokes are like when it comes to reading manuals etc :-[

Philip.

Seeing as I see this one most days trundling past my window, I thought it rude not to buy it.  :D

Just running in, but very quiet and smooth.

My latest baby, like all new babies it was a bit noisy to start off with but has now settled down.

:NGaugersRule:

Beautiful... and mine arrived earlier today   :heart2:

Melchi

Getting back into N gauge after a long absence so thought it was time I updated my Jinty to the latest model and got myself the Duchess of Hamilton and a rake of pullman's as well.

Time to crack on with the layout.

Very nice indeed. Good to see someone with a great taste in loco's as oppose to this GWR heathens.

Welcome to the forum. Pop over to the 'Welcome and Introduction' page and introduce yourself.

Hi Melchi and welcome to the forum. The 'Duchess' is a beautiful engine and I have both the maroon and green versions. The maroon version is part of the story involving my layout 'Averingcliffe'.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Awww, I think it looks nice.  :P. Still looking for a streamlined version in 'n' though.

Here's the eBay-sourced DP1 on the layout now that I've fixed the split gear problem (for now). This was from the same guy who sold @Intercity the Class 70 then sent him a message telling him how cheap he was for buying it.

The long awaited Dapol Class 86 in BR blue:

Dapol Class 86 (86216) by Rail Squid, on Flickr

and for balance a teensy little GWR kettle and sort-of-matching coach:

Dapol 14xx class (1420) by Rail Squid, on Flickr

Needs a bit of attention (I already fixed a moderate case of carpet fibrosis) but luckily appears to be from a "good" 14xx batch and basically runs fine, and moreover copes with my inclines.

However one buffer is missing (I didn't notice until after it arrived), anyone know if and where replacements can be sourced?

Dapol CL68 in TPE livery.!!

Waiting forlornly at Wigan NW for its rake of Revolution MK5's to show up (come on Ben and Mike).
