Maybe the best way is to get the relevant reference numbers off the Farish site and then e mail your favourite source with your wish list requesting their prices first, then you can decide where to buy.

I was working in Sheffield today, and on the way home I somehow ended up in Rails of Sheffield!!

It was with great pleasure that I met fellow forum member Ollie by chance!!

Ollie gladly showed me the latest copy of the catalogue and we must have talked about it's contents for nearly 45 mins!!

We agreed that farish had definitely missed the boat on doing some new liveries for their good 47 range especially now the 47's are celebrating 50 years this year.

We both were pleased with the announcements and it was good to see the catalogue in the flesh. This should be available in the next week or so.

Contacted Hattons early this am about Bulleid coaches, none on order and will have to wait until they have ordered before any pre-order is possible. Hope it's soon!

hi all 

i picked up a copy of the new catalogue today
looks like there's lots to look forward too 

but a couple of things i have noticed after a quick run through are some of the pictures 

no 1  in the picture of the 5MT "camelot" the motion appears damaged to me 

no 2  in the picture of the "bitumen" 14T tank the vent is damaged 

hope this is only an issue with the catalogue and not a sign of things to come 

anyway im off to have another look through and work out how many years of overtime i'm gonna have to do

This was a favourite of mine on my old hornby 00 when a yoof. Will have to work hard on SWMBO though for the funds as I have spent a fortune over last few months
