Huzzah! Finally acknowledged today.

Please accept our sincerest apologies and delayed thanks for your generous & much-valued gift.

I am so sorry that this was not acknowledged at the time; but I wasn't aware of the donation - we are having issue with PayPal in providing the list of donors who have contributed; at the moment they send us an accumulated donation - without the details of the people who made the gift.
I am hoping to resolve this  frustrating issue soon ..

In the meantime, thank you again for supporting the creation of the British Normandy Memorial - this incredible tribute ( hope to be completed in October this year) would not be possible without people like yourselves.

My rant is very minor in comparison hence unhappy thread rather than Angry.

Toolstation order for some mortar (to re-do garden wall) has gone awol.

And due to Covid, no phone contact.

And they are ignoring e-mail / messages.

And the “tracking” number is “not recognised” according to Parcel Force.

Money taken and I am not sure what else I can do. It’s only a fiver but first time I have been in this situation and felt completely powerless.

sounds like one of those new special tracking numbers that only tells you your parcel has been delivered,until that point  "this tracking number has not been reconised please check the number or try again later".

It often happens to me. What Parcel Force are saying is that the barcode on the parcel has not been scanned by the delivery driver. It’s just proof of delivery, not really tracking as such.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Actually I forgot the most infuriating part:

Yes their phone lines are down, but I only found this out after waiting 40 minutes on hold (with a robot counting down wait times) until I was cut off!

my colitis has flared up worse than it has ever been  :poop:
so after a couple of day's trying to get hold of my consultant he got back to me today and i have been put on steroids for the first time 
this could be fun not some of the side affects are increased apatite i already eat like a horse so had better do some food shopping and getting short tempered so the idiots i am in charge of at work had better watch out
