Very happy today as I've just heard that my planning application for a small extension to the house (no, not for a train room unfortunately) has been approved by the coumcil 

I'm off to the pub! No surprise there eh? 

Had my second cataract operation on Monday, and if anything it was even better than the first. The appointment was 10 am and I was back home 2½ hours later. No discomfort, my vision was noticeably better by the next morning, and today it is just brilliant. Back in the summer I was beginning to wonder if I was going to have to give up driving; today I can read a number plate at 50 metres. I couldn't be happier. Respect to SpaMedica Brighton, and to Specsavers who diagnosed the problem in the first place.
