Bob Tidbury

Still got the sound of the M R I scanner in my head .

They don't get mentioned much, and Roger Chapman's vocals are a bit Marmite but there's no doubting they were a great British R'n'B band

Loved this Mick @Newportnobby and had the single! I think Roger Chapman is still performing (?). Here he is with Geoff Whitehorn on guitar performing "Moth to a Flame" from his first solo album...

So, Dream Theater play Pompeii and cover Pink Floyd's "Echoes", a little bit heavier though...

Hope the link works. - nope it doesn't, I will try again.

This does I hope...

Just an extract though... not sure if @Trainfish will approve?

'Echoes' happens to be one of my Floyd top 5 tracks so that sucks, I'm sorry.
I have a lot of time for Dream Theater, having their 3 disc set 'Live at Budokan' but they bit off more than they could chew with that

Just been listening to Black Sabbath "Back to the Beginning" on YouTube, not sure if I should post the video because of the swearing in it. The video was however professionally produced and sounded good to me. Set list War Pigs, N.I.B, Iron Man and Paranoid.

End of an era I guess but I am pleased that Ozzy (76), Tony (77), Geezer (75) and especially Bill (77) were able to bow out together after 57 years.

I watched that this morning and agree. Despite Ozzy being 'on the throne' for the performance I thought he did pretty well, vocals wise. Bill Ward did put me off my brekkie when he took his top off, mind :sick2:
I was amazed at how far folk had travelled to be there, like from Indonesia!!

P.S. No animals/mammals/birds were hurt in the making of this gig :D
