They like you to remove pictures and personal items. They also asked my mate to mow the lawn for the outside shots.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

The place has been empty for 18 months.
Front garden full of weeds and the Wherethehellawi tribe are living in the rear garden.
It's being sold as seen.
No guarantees, no nothing. Any questions will get 'Don't know' answers.
T'will be a project for someone.

The estate agent will likely wide angle and photoshop it to looking like Buckingham Palace either way :)

If we get the money for Buck House we'll be laughing all the way to the bank :laugh3:

Except most banks will be closed if it's anything like down here. They usually re-open as Wetherspoons.

I'm sick and tired of some Freeview channels broadcasting adverts for, for example, the RSPCA showing graphic film of maltreated pets. They upset me hugely let alone any children who might see them and, to my mind, those adverts should carry a warning before being shown. In particular there was an RSPCA one shown at about 6pm this evening when I was having my dinner, which ended up with half of the dinner in the bin.
Of course, I realise such a subject carries a shock value which may/may not prompt donations to charities like the RSPCA but my concern is more for the kids who may see them.
Still, they do the same for humans caught up in wars, famines, droughts etc. so I shouldn't be surprised. It may say something about me as a person that I get more upset about animals than humans but, then again, it never surprises me what man can do to his fellow man as opposed to an animal

I think you're right, it is indeed shock tactics to make you throw half your dinner in the bin and then donate. I would at least finish my dinner first

Bearing in mind I've seen pics of your dinner and, trust me, it would all go in the bin :P

As the pretty successful Aussie band Skyhooks sang in the early seventies, "Horror movie right there on my TV, horror movie - it's the 6.30 news."

During my weekly shop I purchased a £20 Apple voucher but, as I was paying at the checkout, I managed to leave the voucher there and didn't discover this until about 1½ hours later when I was putting the shopping away. I went straight back and told the Customer Service people what had happened and asked whether it had been handed in. They left me standing there for a good 20 minutes until I asked what was happening, whereupon I had to repeat the story just to be told no one had handed anything in. They couldn't have cared less as it had been paid for.
So, yes, I'm angry at myself for letting it happen in the first place, I'm angry at the opportunist git who took it rather than hand it in like an honest person would, and I'm angry at the so called 'Customer Service' counter people. They're obviously paid peanuts and Tesco get what they get for that

confused, why did you have to get a voucher to buy apples, I just scan them with the rest of the shopping Mick  :dunce:  :D

That's a s***, not sure what the customer service team could have done other than show sympathy  :(

It was the complete lack of interest that annoyed me. The so-called manager was more interested in sending long messages on his mobile ::)

appalling mick
I would if you could choose another shop. If you have the receipt could call head office with a complaint.

It's often been considered, Chris, but I prefer Tesco products to their competitor's products having probably tried them all, and the issue I suffered was entirely of my own making.
The vast majority of their staff are smashing people, especially when one of my sisters collapsed and died at my side in Tesco 2 years ago to this very day
