Just returned from Lanzarote. Very angry at not being able to find a model shop with a huge stock of N Gauge British  Outline. Shan't go there again. >:(

I doubt you found much in the way of real railways on the island either!

Hope you had a good holiday though (other than having an N Gauge Drought)

Thank you all for your kind thoughts re Caravan accident, thankfully we are back home now and the caravan and car are still in one piece, some repairs to do to the caravan that I have to organize so we are lucky.
Keep on Smiling
Dave.

Thanks to those who showed concern over the lack of model shops and buses whilst on holiday :smiley-laughing: but I did return suitably sunburned and  my usual supplier in the NW (no names mentioned) can benefit as I couldn't buy any N in Lanzarote.

D'oh!  A friend has an Otter case, which is supposed to be waterproof, drop proof etc... Assuming you get a replacement.

something has just really annoyed me at work tonight,

had a doctor on call car arrive at my front gate and press the intercom i pressed the open gate and said come to the security office for assistance in find where they were going,
the driver drove in didnt accknowledge what i had said and drove past my office off around the park, they drove round a bit then sat like lemons for 5-10 mintutes,

eventually i got tired of them siting there and went and found them and asked where they were going, to which they asked for what i know to be an empty plot, then it dawns on me that they are at riverside caravan park bognor regis when they should be at lake side caravan park chichester  ::)

if they had bothered to come to me the first time much less time would have been wasted,

i just hope the poor person waiting for a doctor wasnt in too much discomfort,,,,,,,,,
Charlie.
