Well, what a day that was - yesterday.
09.00 - 14.00 MotoGP
14.00 - 17.00 Tour de France
17.00 - 18.00 Cricket (T20 recorded from day before)
18.00 - 18.30 Grab a bite to eat
18.30 - 21.00 F1 on Channel 4

It's no wonder I get nothing done ::) :-[

Just as well I'm not interested in footie and tennis, and have only a passing interest in the Olympics! Of course, the TdF is on for the next 3 weeks or so but I'll be trying to limit myself to the highlight show (which is a shame as I'll miss most of the glorious scenery)

You have no idea how much I miss not being able to watch the Aussies beat those "other guys" at Cricket or the F1 - two things I don't get here  -  I am extremely envious of you :(
Cheers,

Forgive me, I'm confused.

Your profile pic/emoji suggests Antipodean. Your 'location' suggests somewhere in the US, but in the 'flag' bit for country you're back in the Antipodes.

Where exactly ARE you on the planet?

I can explain it to you...

I'm an Australian living in the US; however,t no matter where I reside I am still, and always will be, an Aussie - hence the Aussie Flag   :)

Fair 'nuff.

You might consider changing the 'country' flag so other members understand where you are currently, temporarily, begrudgingly or otherwise, residing until such time as you can reunite with your homeland.

To be fair, it's entirely your decision, but I suspect most people look at your side profile and think you live in Aus.

To me, it sounds like a day in hell.
To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

Agreed - apart from the F1!  :). I can only watch it on Channel 4 now and generally, they do a good job. Just occasionally, I'll think "how did that happen? and then realise we have jumped six laps.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Only 80 or 90 more sleeps and I'll hopefully never have to hear about the :censored: cluster festival ever again

I didn't fall asleep, but I have to admit it was not the most exciting of races.

LASteve

We had wall-to-wall sport to watch yesterday over here in LA. It's a good job the Project Manager is as much, if not more into it all than I am.

TdF
Euro Soccer - two elimination matches from the round of 16,
Traveler's Championship Golf

All recorded on the lovely DVR. I cooked lunch somewhere in the middle of that lot. I'll record it next time for airing on the NGF Food Network thread. Mapu Tofu yesterday. Quick prep, fire up the wok and sichuan peppercorn deliciousness follows.

Not a lot of progress made on the ballast though!
