Farish 8F no longer delayed (24 11 20)

I rang Rails ½ an hour ago but the lass was of no help and seemed confused. She confirmed I have a pre order on but then said according to the Bachmann website they're due Nov/Dec. When I pointed out Rails mailed me last week to say they were due in last week all she could say is that they hadn't been booked in yet. Duh

And that same email (I think) also said the Mk2 DBSOs and the WH liveried MK1s were due in too, I guess that's why there has been no progress on my order for those....

Just had an email from BVM to say my 8F is now in the post, so hopefully it will be here in a couple of days.

There's still some of wondering why the delay from Rails, Mike.
However, when folks do get theirs I hope they post reviews in the relevant BachFar steam section.

That is strange about Rails. I've just rechecked their site and there is still no sign of it listed. Other smaller outlets are doing a brisk trade from what I can see.

Rails just posted on Instagram that the 8F is in stock for the 3 non sound versions, though going on their website, 2 show as 'on order' and one is still saying 'forthcoming release'.

For what it's worth, Rails got some of the Mk2F coaches before many of the smaller shops. I'm guessing it depends on in which order Farish send models out to the shops.

Yes. Because in these grim days we need something to froth about, and hopefully there'll be some pics posted in the Review section and everyone saying how good it is
I'm just waiting that mail from Rails to say "Your order has been despatched" but unless it happens today chances are I won't see it before next week
