Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

It is amazing.
If you've not been you should.
We spent 3.5 hours in there when we were in Hamburg last year but could easily have spent all day.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Saw this in a post last year or so and couldn't believe it.
I used to go to Hamburg a fair bit with work but have not been for a while so may have to pay for myself a trip out there as it is a must to see.
Although I had already seen it I am so pleased you put it on as I love looking at it and so watched it again, several times.
:beers:

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Just love the tree falling through the roof of the house.     How many people are working the control room at any time?
Perhaps the proof that there is intelligent life in outer space is that they haven't contacted us.

Only three when I was there - not very old, either.

And they don't seem very busy either!  What they need to keep them awake is a few studs and a nice sparky probe.... :P   :sorrysign:
Thanks for the link, Bealman.  That was half an hour well spent!  You made me ashamed how few of those places across the Channel I've never been to.  Now I finally have a reason to go to Germany - I've visited 14 European countries, but never Germany.

Thanks for that. I sometimes look back at that thread and think it was so self-indulgent, but it is a big trip from here.... long, and not cheap.

So you tend to soak up every moment. I thought I could share that.

Sadly for indulging myself on the forum, our trips tend to be by water and lack trains.  You had some excuse, though there were not many trains in those "artistic" selfies!

Hadn't seen that one before. Now I know what you look like, it's going to take some time to revise the mental image of "Bealman" which has crept unbidden into my head over the past 18 months.  :hmmm:

*BUMP*

Just thought I'd bump this thread up again, as I'm visiting the place in November with the wife.  It is N Gauge, right?   :D
