It's very definitely HO but you won't be disappointed. It is amazing.
Be prepared for it to be busy and allow time.
We spent 3 hours there and could have done with a bit longer.
It's absolutely brilliant.

Yes indeed,  it's amazing.  I understand that they now have the Italian section finished, too.

it is HO, but worth a visit nevertheless - its in an old warehouse, and you buy rtickets on the door. it is the biggest model railway in the world and you can spend hours there!!

A google search will pull up model rail shops in HAmburg to satisfy your N gauge addiction ( not UK though).

We are a railway forum but the airport is truly amazing.  You need to spend quite a time watching the airport to see all that it has to offer. We spent almost a full day here in Wunderland.  A good tip is to buy your ticket online before you go as it gives you a visiting time of your choice. This can be important it there are a lot of visitors waiting.
    Whilst in Hamburg a harbour boat tour is recommended.  See the Worlds biggest ships 50 miles from the sea down the Elbe.
