Welcome back Mick. Having been off the forum for a few weeks I missed the fact that you had gone in to hospital but I know sveral people who were well treated at Blackpool Vic. This thread was well established before I caught up with it so I didn't join in but now I can't resist joining in the homecoming welcome. As others have said you really have been missed. Not too long from the Preston show so hope to catch up with you then. Look after yourself.

I'm catching up with news after being without the internet for 3 weeks  :veryangry:  :censored:.

Good to hear you are mending, Mick. I was a tad concerned when there was no reply to my recent PM sent via an alternative route.

All the best!  :beers:

What can I say to you all apart from 'Shame & Fie', Brothers and sisters, Shame and Fie.
Do you not have model railways/railroads to build and maintain rather than make embarrassing remarks about a silly old fool who is so woozey he is having trouble typing anything :-[

A huge 'Thank You' to all who have responded to Lawrence's roll call, and I hope to be back amongst you very soon and with better news

welcome back Mister. means I have at least one person following my topic ;)

...and welcome back from me, too.

Just think, if you hadn't gone into hospital you'd have hit 20,000 posts by now! Come on, you're 500 behind.  :D

All the best,

Chris

He's already 11,000 posts ahead of Bealman and EtchedPixels (his closest competition); I don't think he's too bothered about what number he hits anymore ;)

It isn't Mick's fault he has made so many posts...

He just has an opinion about.... EVERYTHING! :D

I've been wondering the same thing but haven't wanted to bother Lawrence since he was so kind about giving us updates. Still sending good thoughts your way Mick!

Too quiet  :'( please tell us NN is OK.
Another house move despite "never again" has given me a second floor layout so Geominster Mainline & Heritage Line will be modified and enlarged with siding storage.

My Facebook Diary is Geominster if anyone wants to view it please ask, it is a private group requiring acceptance, thanks.

This then is my third version modified which has been improved from previous efforts and lessons learned.

Geominster was my first project which has now been dismantled. Having learnt so much from  previous Geominster projects this is the latest one.

Latest Youtube video is here.

Hi all
Funnily enough just as I was reading this thread the phone went and Yes it was Mick
He seems to be doing fairly well he is still a little short of breath but getting there
The reason he hasn't been on the forum is because he is struggling a little with his eyesight following his operations
But rest assured he will be back to his normal self soon

Dave
