My thanks too for all the updates. We miss his humor here.

Maybe he got one of those fancy new next18s decoders and will be able to separate rear and forward functions  :P  I wish I could!

PS let's hope when Mick gets home and reads all of this he doesn't burst a stitch (or start mailing us all letterbombs!)

Lawrence... How do you get the ward to tell you about him? Thought that was for family only. Do you pretend to his mum or his wife? :D
Great news though. Hope he's doing well enough to be kicked out.

I'm a personality prototype... you can tell, can't you.

Must say they have been great about it, I was very deferential (especially when Sister answered the phone!) apologised for bothering them and just asked nicely  :D
I wasn't overly keen on calling because I did want to leave that to his mum and family but I got the go ahead from Micks' mum so was happy with that.

Not sure if/when he will be out today, but I should imagine we will all know when he suddenly reappears on here  :)

Lawrence' just want to add my thanks for your updates. I have been impressed by the amount of posting about Mick,
this has to be the best forum ever or is it that we are all of a certain age.
Best wishes to all. Chris.
(old misery guts) I'm not really but don't let her in doors know!

We will ALL KNOW when Mick returns as I think the web site will crash with an overload of responses.

Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

I had one more card arrive this morning so I put everything into a postage bag and managed to drive down to the village and post it off to himself so hopefully he should receive it soon.
If there are any late comers I shall redirect them if and when they arrive.

Just had a (very) quick chat with the old bugger himself.  He has now returned to the bosom of his family, he is understandably very tired and it will obviously take a few days for him to find his feet but I sincerely believe things are on the up and it wont be long before the old bugger is on here again tormenting us all  ;)

port perran

That is indeed very good news.
Looking forward to him appearing back on here.
Thanks Lawrence for keeping us all up to date.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Mito

Great news. He always was one for bosoms :D
