Lawrence,

Phew!!! Thank goodness for that.

Please pass on my regards to Mick, and I hope he's fit and well soon.

Cheers

Neal.

Great news, I was going to suggest a visit from Liz Hurley in a nurses uniform but that might be a bit much for the new plumbing at the moment! Best wishes for speedy recovery.   David

Great to hear your a lot better Mick, we'll definitely have to organise another trip round the York railway museum soon and have a beer or two afterwards.

Are we putting a get together on in York?

Myself, Lawrence, Scotsoft and a certain Newport Nobby invaded York for a weekend in October 2012, primarily to visit the coveted rail museum. After an excellent Friday evening meal, a good Saturday tour of the museum we proceeded to get a little merry on local Ale in a multitude of Yorks finest taverns and then visit a greasy kebab shop on the Sat evening......
Sunday morning we all felt a little worse off......., I totally blame the dodgy kebab that Lawrence forced us all to sample. ::)

Regarding a meet up this year? Why not?

Perhaps we could start a new thread and look at the possibilities?
York is a fine place and I really enjoyed the museum and it was great to meet up with John, Lawrence and of course Mick.
It might be a good chance for newer members to meet up and form friendships like we did nearly four years ago.

Hailstone

I would be one of the first to volunteer to join the next trip - I think that a kebab would be a fitting start to the evening - I love em!!
