Iím feeling a real twit and really feeling my age after slipping on the stairs of our rented house on Monday. Ended up with a very dramatic cut on my ankle and a fractured shoulder.

Was patched by the wonderful NHS at the local hospital. I now have a bandaged ankle and a sling and am no use to man nor beast.

Iím very thankful that it wasnít worse so Iím just left with feeling a really silly.

We are looking for a house - it will be a bungalow.

We lived in our previous house for nearly twenty years, that had stairs and I didnít slip once  :'(

Most important thing is you are ok.

And I am 33 and have slipped on many things (sometimes even when sober).

I'm not sure if life is passing me by, or trying to run me over.

ďUnhappyĒ is maybe a bit strong but this week I ordered lots of bits for my micro-layout project. 2 packages arrived today........... both track joiners! (Normal and insulated) Of all the things to turn up first; the only things I canít play with! I supposed thatís just the gamble when ordering from lots of different places on eBay.

I have to say though; massive thumbs up to AGR Model Railway Stores for super faster service!
Gold Hill - my rule 1, ďjust for funĒ micro layout;

Clouds Hill - My first layout currently on hold;

If it's metal then stomp around in bare feet. Success guaranteed but oh so painful!
