Somehow the Groundhogs rather passed me by.

I had a little listen this afternoon and I think I know why  :D .

I quite liked Bad Company but they were never really one of my favourites.Nevertheless I've been listening to them this afternoon.

Here they are with a couple of celebrities in the form of Neal Schon from Journey and Slash (Guns 'n' Roses) preforming one of my favourite Free tracks :
Incidentally, it might surprise folk that I saw GNR way back with The Cure at Milton Keynes Bowl in the pouring rain.

Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

That is a cool clip. Any idea of what year it was filmed?
Possibly Free's best song?
I loved Bad Company's first album, but not so keen on any subsequent stuff of theirs that I heard.

The video credits say 17 years ago so I guess it was around 2008.

I'm not sure if Squeeze have featured much on here but they've always been a bit of a favourite of mine.
Here's a clip from 1982 when they were still, in my opinion, quite raw and exciting.
I saw them several times mostly because ai had a friend who was a huge fan.
On one quite memorable occasion in the mid 90s we saw them in Bristol where they were joined by former member Jools Holland.
We were somewhat mystified when they played a prolonged encore with Chris Difford repeatedly saying "we're just waiting for someone important to arrive".
The band were eventually joined on stage by Elton John for a couple of songs. It's the only time I ever saw EJ.
Anyway, here'sPulling Mussels

I think that applies to a lot of folk.

Bad Company were the first band I saw live (actually the second as there was a support, but I have forgotten who they were). It was at the Liverpool Empire. I agree that their first album was their best.
