what are you listening to at the moment?

[Newportnobby]

@Moonglum Tim - this is the best William Orbit version (Ferry Corsten mix)
Even my Mum used to love this

Edit:- I used to have Deep Purple's 'Concerto for Group and Orchestra' on vinyl, some of which was good and some was dire! It wasn't based on any well known classical piece, though

Hmmmmmm

Good hmmmmmm or bad hmmmmmm? I suspect the latter

Not bad at all but, as you might have guessed, not my thing

[port perran]

Someone who has been around for a long time but has never really risen to the surface.
I rather like this though :

[Moonglum]

Very nice indeed, Martin @port perran ! Sounds a bit like Clem Clempson (ex Coliseum).

No prizes for guessing where I'll be tonight. See you some time Wednesday maybe as there are pubs in Bath waiting for me

[Newportnobby]

I'm sure you'll enjoy the show (and the ales)

[Newportnobby]

I can't recall who put me onto 'Still Corners' but I find I am constantly playing 'The Trip' and 'Black Lagoon'

Guilty as charged m'lud

[Tonye]

I am listening to Iommi-From the dark . Heavy Metal at it`s best.

Tony.

[Newportnobby]

Saw him on BBC Breakfast the other day, and my sister lives next door to him

[Moonglum]

Black Sabbath, I always thought that there was a bit more to them than meets the eye/ear. I saw them in March 1973 at the Rainbow Theatre (North London) and sat 3 rows from the stage. The tour was in support of "Vol. 4." and parts of the concert can be heard on "Alive at Last". I think it all went to pot after "Sabotage" and I moved on although I do have "13" - no Bill Ward on drums - more is the pity.

Sad about Ozzy of course but I did not follow his solo career and still consider his best work to be on the very early BS albums.

Not sure I could take a whole Tony Iommi album now @Tonye !

I saw Black Sabbath in Bristol with some mates, who dragged me along, in probably 1972.
BS were never my thing at all but I recall that Glen Cornick's Wild Turkey, who were the support act, were pretty good (at the time).

I've just had a quick listen to the first two tracks on Tony Iommi's From the Dark @Tonye .
Definitely not my cup of tea by a pretty long stretch
