Now, @Snowwolflair I have to be honest that's dreadful! I have never liked Toyah but Robert Fripp is course another matter all together.

Tim, I have to agree with you.
Sounds rather like someone in a karaoke bar.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Indeed. That stupid Sunday lunch thing I find myself watching. They must be making money out of it.
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

What the hell. It made I laugh but, then again, they generally do.
No peanut smuggling, though :(

I came across this today.
Andy Timmons a well respected US session guitarist who has worked with a fair few well known artists.
To me this is pretty good :

I wonder who got to body paint her, no wonder Fripp has a big grin.

Moonglum

It certainly was not me!

After last nights noise here is something a little more refined, from Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets Live the mighty "Echoes"...

Hard to believe that (ex) members of Pink Floyd, Spandau Ballet, The Blockheads and The Orb are the backing musicians - great stuff eh @Trainfish ! Mixed by Steven Wilson.

I've just listened to a bit of that and it sounds excellent. I'll listen right through tomorrow..
Seems Steven Wilson is involved in a lot of things.

I first heard Echoes on the wireless.
John Peel played it on his show and I recorded it via a cheap microphone onto my reel to reel tape recording machine.
I made a pile of books to put around the microphone, which was positioned in front of the speaker, to try to eliminate any external sound.
At the time I thought "This is amazing" and to my mind it's still some of PF's best work.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Just to bookend that Martin @port perran , how about this...

"Meddle" was my first real exposure to PF :bounce:  , unlike you though a school chum lent me a pre-recorded cassette so a microphone, reel to reel and radios were not required!

Rather liked the Andy Timmons.

Pleasant enough but, dependent on my mood, sometimes I need to have 'just a noise' as you called it.

Sorry, Tim. I found that to be a very pale shadow of the original which I rushed out and bought on vinyl as soon as it was released.

Always liked the Outfield.
Considering The Outfield appear to be very popular they have passed me by.
Not bad but not really my thing.I find the singer's voice a tad annoying I'm afraid.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

I must admit that I initially misread @kusojiji 's post thinking it said Blackfield (another Steven Wilson collaboration for you Martin @port perran !)

Anyway, Outfield is not really my thing so here is some Blackfield from 2007...

There is of course Leftfield...

Am I detecting a slight obsession with Steven Wilson @Moonglum:D

Actually I quite like that track from Blackfield.

Whigfield anyone ?  :D
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.
