Some oldies but goldies............
Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man (featuring Jeff Beck on guitar)
Love - Alone again or
Badfinger - Carry on till tomorrow
Badfinger - No matter what (featuring George Harrison on guitar)
Marmalade - Reflections
Jeff Beck - Drinking again (featuring Rod Stewart on vocals)

Talking of Jeff Beck, next up was some string bending from the maestro...........

Then, just before the juice ran out on my iPod, this miniature masterpiece which deserves to be listened to on headphones and very loud......

Furloughed from work, at home for an indeterminate time but still able to ride my bike and float away to Ride and their somewhat appropriately titled album, "This is not a Safe Place".

For those of a certain age it was announced yesterday that Julie Felix had died, aged 81.  Julie was still performing her own style of protest song until afew weeks ago.  Last year she sang at our 50th wedding anniversary party and put on an excellent show. Look her up

The sad news today is that Manu Dibango passed away, apparently due to the virus.

A piece not hugely well known which, dependent on mood, frequently has me blubbing by the end so you may need some eye wipe if you listen to it all............

A piece not hugely well known...

… and truly excellent!  Thank you very much for reminding me of it.

Best wishes.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.
