A bit too slushy and sentimental for me but it is quite pleasant.

Haha, at least the wife didn't leave with the dog this time...

I like that Martin @port perran , I had a listen to some more Still Corners, similar and very pleasant.

I've downloaded a couple of tracks (including the one above) but they do seem to be a 'one trick  pony' :hmmm:

I believe the current theme is their AI date leaving with the self-drive Tesla 8)

My ex tried that, and the dog demolished her mother's kitchen in protest. I got the dog back the next day..... :claphappy:

I listened to this on Monday morning and it's an earworm for me now

Excellent Mick @Newportnobby . I think this is the first time Sting has appeared on the Forum, I saw him live at the RAH (1996) and he and his band were absolutely brilliant. It is a shame that his solo work slowly deteriorated after his superb live album "All This Time" (2001).

Sad to hear that Dave Greenslade of Colosseum and, of course, his own band Greenslade has passed away.

Moonglum

Yes sad news, I haven't heard this track before, nice vibe(s). DG's work with Colosseum I think is better than his solo work which never quite did it for me - great album covers though!

DG was my dad's friend's neighbour in Stanmore back in the 70s and I saw Greenslade at the Roundhouse (Camden) in July 1975 (supported by Motorhead no less).

Martin @port perran , you might like this one as well with the late Barbara Thompson. Clem Clemson is a great guitarist as well.

Very nice Tim @Moonglum . Very nice indeed.

I always rather liked Colosseum but was just ever so slightly put off by Chris Farlowe's  vocals which I felt were rather overpowering.

Yes, Clem Clemson was an under-rated guitarist and I also rated the legendary Dick Heckstalll-Smith on sax.

Strangely, I never saw Colosseum live.
I have no idea why as I saw most bands of the era. For some reason, however, they eluded me.

I dod see Greenslade once but, like you, I was always a bit underwhelmed.
