I've unfortunately seen the one of the mirror not being on an angle.  ;)
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

That pic is not actually possible. I've used A.I. to remove my reflection.
I was fully clothed anyway - as, you, well, know :P

Well, here we are, 11th June, and we've finally given in and turned the heating back on. Yeah, yeah, I know, "soft southerners, put another jumper on, save the planet..." Still, summer is supposed to be putting in a tentative reappearance tomorrow. We shall see.

Cheers,

Chris

I leave my heating on at 20 degrees all year. If it comes on, it comes on. Mind you, I'm on strong blood thinners

Southerner here, and I'm still in shorts and polo neck shirt at work.  I'll add that I work outside, in case someone thinks that I work in a boiler room or such!  :D

Papyrus

Ah! So you're a postman, then!  ;D

Cheers,

Chris

;D No, I like my work to be delivered on time.   :-*  :smiley-laughing:

Just kidding to any real posties!   :D

18.5 for us. The wife's a Highlander, but she does feel the cold.

With a Highlander for a wife, your figures are probably Fahrenheit, though

You know it's summertime when her skin goes white from its usual translucent blue.....

I was wondering how to spend the first 2 weeks of August, some country walks, visit the odd preserved railway etc but, no, 2 weeks jury service with the joy of trying to negotiate the 15 miles of gridlock to Lewes for 9am every day.
I love the invitation: You have been "selected", have 7 days to respond to the summons and if not could be committing a criminal offence and fined up to £1000 all in bold type.
Gee, thanks!

I've got away with it for 54 years (as from aged 18) but the sods have raised the upper age to 75 so I may still cop for it unless I can escape on medical grounds somehow

Edit:- A.I. states I have the right to be excused if I don't want to participate (so it must be right, right? ;) )

England and Wales: You must be between the ages of 18 and 75. If you are over 70, you can choose to serve, but you have the right to be excused if you do not want to participate.
