The difference being that living here means that you don't end up in the land of @Train Waiting but rather in tropical Queensland instead. The bus stop has moved to Daydream Island in the Whitsudays off the Barrier Reef. Here are our "buses"



A ferry trip from the airport at Hamilton Island brought us to our destination:



To be met by a bottle of bubbly in the room and the local wildlife just outside.

The last time I had a cooked breakfast at a hotel, @Newportnobby chastised me about the state of the scrambled eggs. Well does this meet with your approval, Mick? I know it met with mine!

    

There is a small living reef in the resort, with an underwater observatory full of fishy type thingies



But Mrs B did a fishy type thingy herself 

Of course there's always a downside in tropical Queensland...
