Now...here's an artist I've been listening to lately .

I'm most impressed by the guitar work of Toshiki Saejima.

Here he is with Gravity, sung by Nahokimana

Gravity is one of my favourite songs written by John Mayer who is another favourite of mine.

Here is Gravity again performed by John Mayer himself :

Not sure this is for you Mick @Newportnobby but it might just appeal to Tim @Moonglum and, hopefully, a few others.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Gravity is one of my favourites, Martin. I have it on my iPod and a USB for my laptop (the John Mayer version)

There you go......just when I thought I had your musical tastes figured out you go and throw in a curved ball.
I have to agree though that Gravity is a superb song.

RIP Roberta Flack, I could have posted one of her better known songs but this is from her 1978 album "Roberta Flack" which I once had on vinyl...

A wonderful singer.

One of Rainbow's best , if not the best. I reckon Ronnie James Dio was one of the most underrated vocalists of his time.

Moonglum

Yes agreed Mick @Newportnobby . I think RJD is better here with Rainbow than with Black Sabbath but then he isn't bad on this either...

Cheers,

Tim

I finished the morning with a few old Scorpions tracks. Maybe an acquired taste but...........

I've never heard of Ronnie J Dio but then it's not my type of music.
Poweful and clear voice though which is  suited to the style.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Aw, c'mon, Martin.
Do you have no balls out rock that has the neighbours banging on the wall for more? ;D

I'm afraid not Mick.
Boring as it is, I've never really been into rock music as such.

I did see Black Sabbath once in about 1970, against my better judgement,  and saw Led Zeppelin twice but always thought they were rather over rated.

I'm a bit of a girl's blouse, especially these days, as far as music goes as you can probably tell by my posts on here  :D
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

I think your taste in music has become quite sophisticated Martin!

Some might say unsophisticated  :D

And a singer whose voice I find fascinating.

This is Celeste with backing music from Gotts Street Park

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

While not a huge fan of R.E.M. I tend to have compiled quite a few tracks lifted from their various albums. Here's one I really like.....
