Rumour has it that our Bob Tidbury is a big fan of Rumer, here she is with "Dangerous"...

Very pleasant Bob.

Cheers,

@Snowwolflair brought it to our attention that the original members of Black Sabbath are re-uniting for a final show this summer. I saw Black Sabbath live at the Rainbow Theatre on 16 March 1973 or possibly the 17th, my seat was 3 rows from the front and it was very loud! Supporting BS were Necromandus (a band being championed by Tony Iommi) and more interestingly Badger featuring Tony Kaye (ex Yes) on keyboards.

I don't remember Badger at all and haven't heard them since until now! Here they are live with "Wheel of Fortune"...

Hmmm, not bad at all, not at all like Yes either and a great cover by Roger Dean. The album was recorded live at the Rainbow Theatre whilst supporting Yes.

Cheers,

Tim

Not over keen on the music but love Roger Dean's work and have his book of various album covers

Thanks Tim @Moonglum.

Badger, I'd completely forgotten about them.
That's not a bad track for me, but just a shame about the vocals which detract a little from the music.
Nevertheless I'll listen to a bit more later when I'm in the train room.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Wouldn't Brian May be having another stroke?
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

He's a champion of wildlife and in particular badgers.
But.....has he had a stroke ?
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Moonglum

I didn't know about either of those things.

Badger - the band

I've just listened to One Live Badger whilst applying copious amounts of paint and sand to my beach which is a rather tedious job to say the least.

It's a perfectly listenable album but not one I'd rush to play again I'm afraid.

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Here's a band I came across in unusual circumstances.

I was renegotiating my Sky subscription a couple of years ago and I got talking music to the guy in the call centre, as you do.

Anyway, he was off to see Snarky Puppy that evening so I gave them a listen and was suitably impressed.

If you like jazz, rock, funk and blues fusion with a bit of improvisation this might work for you:

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Nice.... nothing like a bit of jazz-funk! Good find Martin @port perran .

and some audience participation...

Moonglum

Here is something for you Martin @port perran when you are next sanding, pva-ing and making waves! Incognito has been around for ever, best known for "Always There"...

Cheers,

Tim
