I guess you will use weathering powders to make it look more realistic?

 

I guess I sorta did it in reverse.. it was weathered but I made it look like it just came out of the factory!

The real result was I didn't come down with heat exhaustion.

I guess the drive is doing OK and you have recovered from undertaking that task

My patio could do with a coat @Bealman next time you are in Melbourne. I'll buy the VB

I think you should stay out of the sun, George, it's obviously not doing you any good. Get back in the garage and paint a signal box or something...

Ah, maybe that's what @Graham meant, it's for the prep work, good idea. For the record I have tried VB albeit over here so it may be slightly different and yes, it's ruddy awful. Unless of course you're old and used to it I guess.

I knew you UK lot would have a go at me about painting a driveway (I'll ignore the comments about VB). Well, it sure beats the raw concrete that has been there since 1981. The paint is more than just paint, it's concrete sealant as well, and not cheap. The colour is Springwood grey, matching the roof, drains, gates, etc.

Here's the driveway before painting. Big improvement in my eyes!
