It's Good Friday today, but a day when I will not get the opportunity to do anything model railway related (apart from accessing the NGF now just before I have to go out).

Anyone got any special plans for the day?

Our complex is completely full for Easter with lots of holidaymakers and children on site, so I have to help the misses with the activities she has organised for today.

1) - Daytime - Set up the sound system around the Pool to announce the Tombola stall & winners, and play some music, and also announce the Pool Table competition (for both children & adults) that follows the Tombola.

2) – Evening – Attend a House warming Party of one of our neighbours who has just moved into a larger Apartment. His name by the way is "Harry Potter" and that is his real name and he is not the character from the books & films.

Have to sign off now to help the wife carry all the Tombola prizes out to the Pool.

It's wet, cold and breezy here.
Been to garden centre this morning getting bits and bobs for our allotments but this afternoon as the weather is so poor I'll be working on Trepol Bay.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

making a start on the hull of the LSM to see what it will load.

holding the bits together with Tamyia masking tape for now, then when I'm happy with how things are looking, will brush on some liquid poly.

typical spring day here - cloudy and wet  :'(

hope yours is better

:laughabovepost: Sounds like a good plan to me :)

My plan was to get up late and potter about in my PJs&dressingown doing nothing very much apart from talking to my sourdough culture until well after midday.
So far so good :)
Culture is looking lively so I'll be making bread later but only to feed two, not the proverbial 5000 (or was it 7000?!)
Also, we sacrificed a lamb a short time ago so later today will be the 'feast of the lamb chops'.  :)

And I might even get round to some more work on my Silloth Engine Shed.

At work for me. Good for the bank balance though, triple time!

Work again tomorrow, then Sunday at the York show and Monday at Oulton Park for the opening round of the British GT Championship.

So not all bad!

Getting ready for visiting relatives, especially my son-in-law who is something of an artist hoping to get some help with painting back-scenes. Found a problem in the tunnel at the corner and the glue has run making the whole thing immovable :veryangry: :veryangry: :veryangry:so got to rip the scenery apart and rebuild even more :veryangry: :veryangry: :veryangry: and a  :censored: :censored:

I'm at work. My company doesn't recognize 'religious' public holidays other than Christmas Day - unfortunately that is quite common here in the US...

Do you not have a janitor/concierge to help with all that ?

Looks like (with the exception of Tdm) everyone has been getting wet. It's Saturday here now and it rained all day yesterday and it's worse today. I'm flying to Tasmania on Tuesday and can't get me washin' dry!  :(
