Congrats mate,

Just think modelling could help you get the new addition to sleep, have to tell Mrs Railsquid that as an excuse to get more  :P
Mechanical issues can be solved with a hammer and electrical problems can be solved with a screw driver. Beyond that it's verbal abuse which makes trains work!!

Trainfish

Will the squidlet end up in one of the Inter-City/Swallow/NSE liveries?

Who's stalking whom here?  :hmmm:

Anyway there can only be one answer to your question:

Trainfish

Give it yellow ends and it will be acceptable. Erm, the MU that is, not the squidlet.

Time for an update to this thread... never too early to watch trains, IMHO  :D

Oh dear ... the squidlet looked a little bored at one point !!!

Not enough steamers ...  :P

railsquid

An electric locomotive is technically a steamer... just the steam is generated remotely  :P Anyway he perks up once the train comes back into view.

D1042 Western Princess

I wouldn't have been much older that the baby when I first discovered the joys of N gauge - then called OOO and was push along.
If it's not a Diesel Hydraulic then it's not a real locomotive.

Somewhere on the shelf in the background I have a couple of boxes of OOO bearing the brand name "Lonestar"... albeit the advanced version involving electric motors and elastic bands.

Bealman

Those old metal Lone Star ones were awesome. Came with ready ballasted track like the old Triang stuff or Kato Unitrack.....  ;)
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

I think you have found a perfect way of inducing sleep to your little squidlet   ;)

I love the chair, I wonder if they do them in old bloke sizes  :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:

cheers John.

QLD KID

G'day from Australia,  :hellosign:
Loved the video of the sqidlet as it brought back fond memories of my 2 when they were that age. They are now Shane 42 and Carol 44. My God where did all those years go.  :hmmm:
Shane never caught the Train Bug but is a Fishing Nut and has fished all over the Planet.
Carol has 2 Daughters, Charlotte 8 and Eloise 6 and are as big a Train Nuts as Pa (me).
so I figure All Good.
Cheers   :beers: Denis the QLD KID.
Never take Life too serious we are never going to make it out alive.

Jellicoe

I don't know about the baby but that's what my hat looks like!

Congrats - beautiful!
