In a way that's good Geoff, but in another way it's not as I'd like to see the back of him.

Just when I was starting to give him the benefit of the doubt ... guess a leopard never changes his spots eh?

FIFA have to come down really hard on this thug, otherwise they'll look corrupt and immoral, sorry, did I say FIFA, corrupt, immoral in the same sentence ... surely not   :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:

That was disgraceful and if found guilty he should be banned from the competition.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Only time will tell if he does get banned, and he was calling the British Public for not liking him and giving him a chance, no doubt he has superb skills but he needs a part in the film industry as Dracula, maybe he is Dracula in disguise.

The punditry out here, they had Chris Coleman and Alan Curbishly on, we're talking about a LIFETIME ban. I doubt he'll get that but I think he should get at least a 1 year ban from ALL football. Not sure what FIFA's remit on that is, but then they're hardly the moral standard setters either are they!

You have to say the standard of British pundits exluding hoddle is really poor..its all about passion and commitment which will get you so far but no real tactical appreciation or recognition of the higher skill levels of so many of the so called smaller nations..ian wright saying sturridge was unlucky today is a typical example...he is just not a geniune top class striker..at this level you have to take that one chance that may happen in the game..its what the very best do

Have to agree with you there Sparky. We have ex-England Intl. strikers on the tv out here and I can't help but think I 10-year old could say the same things as they do. I think of them as "time-fillers".

The World Cup punditry on BeIn Sports (Middle East provider), although headed up by Andy Gray and Richard Keys, who I actually like, despite their previous misdemeanors, is shockingly poor with the quality of their guests (on the most part).

For the premiership they have much better guests, but I guess they are all booked up for the World Cup. Do miss Lineker on the beeb though!

A bit like magazines reviewing new model releases, the pundits won't stick their necks out and say what they're probably thinking. In fact, the only pundit I know who does is Geoff Boycott commenting on the appalling cricket served up by England.
In the meantime, Suarez should be locked up in a zoo for the rest of his life and fed............pundits >:D

On a lighter note it seems we have 3 new sponsors for the England team
