For those that haven't noticed my signature now has a new line giving the url of an experimental live webcam on my Claywell, High Hackton & Bampney layout.  It works best with Internet Explorer but should work with most browsers, there are some arrow buttons displayed, these can be used to move the camera.  Please avoid using the horizontal and vertical automatic scan buttons as these tend to cause the system to lock up if too many people try to operate them at the same time.

If I'm not actually there I will try and leave at least one train running controlled by the R&R Train Controller software.  The user name is ngf and pass is caz, all lower case.  See http://aj1429.iview.hk:81

Can't get past the screen with the toggle buttons on it I'm afraid
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Saw the semaphore signal move and a train with lit coaches in the background  Then pictures of the ceiling etc so presume someone else was controlling the camera

Really excellent to see live pictures of the trains -  :thankyousign: Caz

(works for me using Safari)
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

Caz

If anyone is wondering why there is little colour, the room is in darkness, only the railway lights are illuminating it plus the infrared on the camera.

As I'm using a free dns service I guess there might be limitations but if it works willl look at getting a paid dns service which should help speed things up as at the moment it all goes via Hong Kong!

If anyone if having problems in IE then go to Tools > Compatibility View Settings and then add the site, it should be ok after that

Caz

Sorry, forgot to warn you that it all shuts down at 2200 CET (2100 UK) or I'll get into trouble with my other half.    :)

Will get it back up running tomorrow.

For anyone interested, trains are running now, 3 steamers and a DMU until about 1500 CET (1400 UK).

Sorry about the colours the camera shows, all the vegetation is green, honest, despite some of it looking purple or pink, can't seem to change it in the camera.

Chatty

Caz

Got through OK using Firefox.  Apparently, you were at tea.

Got some interesting views of the layout, ceiling, wall and a cupboard.

From what I saw it was very enjoyable.

I think it was young Bart (1936ACE) that saw the BP.

Kind regards

Geoff
Have you hugged your locomotive today.

When you return from Tea Caz  ;) is it possible to add a chat option to your cam website or a way of showing how many users are logged on to prevent us fighting with each other for control  ;)
