Thanks Jerry, I am able to get 1mm card from a local Newsagent and for building I used to use Sticky Craft Glue but I am interested in doing a bit of experimenting with glues.

Jerry,
How easy was the ship to build?
Have looked at it several times but not plucked up the courage to try it yet.
Started the Smart models War Memorial and then managed to loose half the bits I printed out. :-[
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

That sounds familiar, we are not related are we  :confused2:  :smiley-laughing:

cheers John.

We should start a club , who actually finished the Smart models war memorial ?.com  ???

The ship was easier but do not attempt to build the stairs between decks use plastic stairs or you will end up in an asylum of your choice.

Jerry,
Are the ship stairs worse than the signal box ones?

When I cut my parts out, each sheet I print and cut goes in it's own box or container,I then print all the sheets again but don't cut them out, this gives me a reference as to what sheet the parts are out of,dunno if this makes any sense to anyone else though.

It also means if I want just one part because of a mistake I use one of the pre printed sheets.

I'm not a complete idiot..some bits are missing.

Deffinately going to need a support group for this, im well and truelly hooked on scalescenes kits, i have 20 at the moment and i see more on the horizon, i have tinkered trialed and build most things twice if not more, cant wait for some of the new kits,,,,,, loved that collection of scalescene buildings, most of my building will be theres by the time i am finished,,,,,,

Makes perfect sense to me , but then I would use the extra printed sheets to make another model !.

Ship stairs are as bad as the signal box but there are 4 sets of them :veryangry: :veryangry:  Hence I used plastic ready made ones bought from Squires.
