Ian: Nothing much else to do, mate!

Graham: The layout is high enough to require a barstool!

Great news, George.

I know what a forced and extended stay can be like.

No more use for that poachers jacket to smuggle beer supplies in!

That's great news, George.

Are you allowed the 'Victoria Bitter' yet?

I heard that the brewers were on short-time...

All the very best for a 70019-fast recovery.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

Oh Lordy. The Bealman has been released back into the wild/community :o
The return of the Giant Hogweed might have nothing on this :uneasy: (old Genesis track)
However, bells are being rung in both the brewery and the hospital.
Just don't try moon walking please, George

you will have to take a chair out to run your railway.

You could put it on rails and shout "chuff chuff" as you go along.  ;D

Nice to hear you are out and about, George. The club will be glad to see you back, they had to lay one bar staff off due to your absence. 😁
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Good to hear you up and about George, you will soon be flying round on those crutches when you get used to them.

Thanks, everyone!

John and Joe: Mrs B thoughtfully had a fridge full of 'em waiting  :beers:

Martin: Already done. Geez that first one off the keg tasted magic.  :pint:

Mick: And end up looking like Michael Jackson? I've got enough problems  :D

David: Great idea!

Malc: Well, strange, that. When the General Manager saw me, he was straight over, shook me hand, and the first one was on the house  :uneasy:

Thanks again, folks. Much appreciated.  :beers:

George

Congratulations on your release!

In other happy news, an Australian graffiti vandal has been apprehended in Japan for crimes against trains and aesthetics in general, I do hope he enjoys his PrisonBnB stay, they take these things seriously here.

Today I was officially put on notice of being at risk of redundancy - 3 months from now I will no longer work for my current employer! Hoo  :censored: Rah!

Back in November, my employer started the process of restructuring, badly and without following due process - they were flouting both statutory legislation and their own statutes & rules. With the support of union colleagues, we've made them step back and restart the process correctly. A small win that'll hopefully have lasting impact at my place of employment.
“We are indebted to those soldiers who served with courage and distinction to bring peace to Northern Ireland,” UK Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said. “The welfare of our former service personnel is of the utmost importance.”
