After nearly a two and a half month stay in hospital, I finally got home yesterday and the Doctors thought I would be leaving in a box :)

We were wondering where you were. Good to have you back with us (and not in a box!)

Its great to be back, though I thought I may have not have made it at some points

Blimey bloke! Good to have you back. I've missed my LMS sparring partner, too many GWR types on here, been feeling outnumbered!

Was just about to drop you a PM and expected to learn you were moving house!

As already said, Welcome back and please try not to repeat whatever it was that made you poorly.

Bet the DO was worried silly.

Take it easy.

The DO was told not to expect me to survive the first operation but I managed it, I must admit it has been a bit of an effort

Good to have you back but please do take things easy till you are fully back to full health.
If it looks right then it most probably is right.

Welcome back to the fold Paul, but do take care. The trains can wait a bit - just imagine that there is a strike on.  :beers:

Possibly not "pure" but I hope it helps towards full recovery.
You know you're getting older when your mind makes commitments your body can't meet.

Hi Paul.

I guess you had your Christmas dinner in the hospital. Did you get sprouts ? If not I hope the DO served you a big plateful on your return home.

Best regards,

Joe
