A great striker for both Spurs and England. Later on a TV presenter who has left us at 81 years old and just 6 months after his TV partner Ian St John. They were a great double act on Saint & Greavsie

Played 157 times for Chelsea and 321 for Spurs. I just looked at the football fixtures and guess which 2 teams are playing each other this afternoon? Will be an emotional game I'm sure.

A great footballer and a funny man.

When asked where he played his best football he replied :

"Chelsea fans say I played my best with Chelsea.

Spurs fans say I played my best with Spurs.

West Ham fans say I played my best with Chelsea or Spurs."

As many will know, I'm in no way a football buff, but I used to love watching Saint and Greavsie. Both great characters.  A sad loss to entertainment as well as football.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

A great character with an eye for goal.
Sadly missed.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Wherever they are, I bet they're having a laugh. A great shame. Bye Greavsie :goodbye:

A sad day.

A true icon of the game. A Tottenham legend.
