Because...........................................................
I need to try and incorperate 2 different gauge tracks  - one is code 80 and the other is code 40.
A  45degree cross over at least will be required and my track building skills are rubbish.
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

A dual gauge crossing with different track profiles in the real world moves to the heavy profile then crosses then moves back, so its kind of correct to use a code 80/code 80 one and mate the code 40 rail to it

Because today while hunting around for railway - related stuff in the study, I re-discovered MYST. I have spent half the day playing Myst 3 Exile. I solved it years ago but have lost all my notes (read, SWMBO probably threw them out), so I am playing again from scratch.

I realise that all I have to do is Google Myst and get complete a walk - through, but that's not the point, is it? Anyone else out there in Forumland a Myst freak? If so, I am happy to put this into the 'General Discussion' section. For example, is Myst 4 Revelation worth getting, or should I get back to my layout?

Because I now have to find a DVD player / Hard Disc recorder to buy for Mrs H to replace our old one that has just given up the ghost , I am looking to buy from the UK. We live in Italy so do not have the luxury of getting a Sky Plus Box. This, according to her is payback for a certain Blue Pullman that I may have pre ordered !!!
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Hi Jerry,

I don't know what your budget is, but I have one of these and am very happy with it, especially as you can transfer old VHS vids onto DVD.

You need to be a bit careful about the TV Standard unless you are using a direct feed ie SCART or HDMI. Also the Freview decoder may not be any use.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Thanks to Mick but typical for our luck its "no longer in stock ". Thanks , Malc again thanks we do have UK Sky (not officially) so only technically recieve 1 channel the old DVD/recorder had a Scart input from our sky box.

My pal Eddie suggested a cultural tour of Winchester (lovely historic town) with his 2 brothers and a couple of their mates, lovely sunny day, had our 7th pint in the "Wyckham Arms" voted town pub of the year by CAMRA, last pint by the station and let the train take the strain!
