Disappearing Post

I posted a reply in the 'Baseboard Construction' thread at about 0855 this morning, just after the post from ntp. I have received a 'Like/Thank you' notification from springwood. Yet my post is not showing, not in the thread nor in 'Show own posts' section. It is as though the post never existed  . Any one else had 'disappearing' posts?

I had one earlier in the week. I posted to a thread (unfortunately I can't remember which one) and later returned to it to find other postings but not mine. I re-posted and it appeared this time.

Its possible but I only tend to use preview when I'm posting a picture.

I could have, but I got a notification that springwood 'Liked' the post, so it must have been visible at some time. 

@springwood - tell me I am not losing the plot. Did you 'like' the post I put up at about 8.55 this morning about using MDF for baseboards?

Addit: Sorry, just checked back through my Alerts and springwood marked the post as 'Agree', not 'Like'.

It looks like a moderator with fat fingers hit the delete button.  Very sorry about that.  I've seen it in the Log. One of us will reinstate it.  At work currently....!
