Mr.Grumpy

I 'as been mostly writing my <<expletive>> reports for my first year of my PhD.

I'd much rather be modelling a Pendolino in Blender...

Now I understand your avatar! It's you after a good night's test tasting.

Doh! You've sussed me out!  :smiley-laughing:
It tastes nice but will be even nicer after a couple of weeks in the bottles.
Gets a bit of body then. It might take me a while to drink them all though!  ;)
Personal motto: You don't have to be mad to be a modeller, but I find it helps!

If I lived closer I'd pop round and give you a hand, just an excuse to have a look at your layout, Honest!

Hey Moogle any left over you could always use to stick ground cover down on your layout.....! Orange & grapefruit... each to his own, I suppose.... I'll stick with the hops. :beers:

I made some dandelion wine once, and had to use honey instead of sugar due to a shortage. Some time later, having let it mature, I opened a bottle and sat down to watch a late night film on BBC2 (yes, one of those!). Having knocked back half a bottle, the film ended and I decided to go to bed. Tried to get up and found I was dead from the waist down. Had to sleep on the chair! Have always used honey instead of sugar ever since.

I remember my Dad making some wheat wine once. I watched the football on the telly and was seeing 44 players, 2 refs and 2 balls.
Luckily I can now recreate this scenario with Bushmills Black Bush  :beers: :beers:

This weekend I as been mostly......taking Tramadol for back pain, and it don't go well with modelling  :(

I'm just entering my 12th week on Tramadol, Naproxen, paracetamol and the odd dose of Oramorph. I've tried to cut down over the last week but my head keeps spinning so I've gone back on them. I've booked an appointment with the doctor but can't get to see him until August 7th! Thank god I've got a season ticket/loyalty card for prescriptions  :o

The thing is, when I first injured myself with 5 broken ribs, big lump on my head, cut ear, various other bumps and bruises etc caused by falling down the stairs, all those drugs together were helping but no way were they getting rid of more than 50% of the pain. Now when I take them all I feel around 95% ok, just a twinge here and there. At first I tried cutting down from 8x tramadol, 8x paracetamol, 2x Neproxin, 20 - 40ml of Oramorph per day to 4x tramadol, 4x paracetamol, 2x Neproxin per day and I went down to about 75% ok as far as pain goes but felt generally crap. I went back up to 6 of each with the Naproxen and was maybe 85% ok but in the mornings I felt like I'd had about 3 or 4 pints of ale! Now gone back to the original without the Oramorph and 95% again with 100% not too far away. I'm playing golf on Sunday for the first time in ages so that will be a good test. I just want to get off these things though without the dizzyness or feeling crap. The Oramorph was relatively easy to get off. I had cravings for it but no increase in pain and I was off that after about week 5 and it took around a week to do so. It seems Tramadol etc aren't so easy though  ???

Tramadol are a nightmare to get off because they are so addictive. My Mrs was on them and had 4-5 days of feeling really ill when she came off them, so good luck with it and get well soon.

Teaching my 3D rendering tools to draw rainstrips on coaches and also support roofs with different angled ends to the sides. In theory they are now capable of drawing things like Gresley tourist stock and some of the SR and BR(S) EMU stock.

Doing corrections on the F5, 48DS and Great Central coaches.

Attacking the web site software a bit so it now also spits out an index of products at the back with a link toe each page where it was referenced.

Putting up various new items like properly proportioned UK traffic ccnes.

Last night was more useful - I got the non sleeper half of the Nightstar rake finished.

Now back to the brasso 8)
