I'd like to see the Prodigy system work with all that wet stuff on the line too - SVDA anyone?  :smiley-laughing:

Paul

I already see that damn SVDA too often!  It gets on my nerves!!!  LOL

Love it, Chris!  ;D

Echos of that old BTF production about the stranded train at Bleath Gill

Thanks Adam!  :)  It was just a quick mock up.....although I'd never heard of that film - I'll have to find it now I've read about it.

You just knew that Snow Train would come in handy sooner or later - great

;D  Always good to plan ahead!  It's just a shame that the railway boss' didn't keep the Snow Train carriages down this way and sent the real NSE Snow Train north.  The carriages and Snow Blower are all split up now.

After participating in a snowball fight, snowman making and sledging, I'm pleased to say that Grappa is now nicely worn out...so am I.

Wouldn't catch my cats going out in it, had to give one the toe-up-the-bum treatment just to get her to go outside for a dump!  ;D

Had about 4-5 inches of the stuff here, biggest headache was having to gaffer-tape the mop to the broom so I could reach the Sky dish to clear the snow off, otherwise no TV! Can't have that  :o  :smiley-laughing:

Tank

Hi Alan,

:)  The one I got from you is still in the loft, along with the other 4 or five NSE Class 50's.  These two were already out and ready to grab!  :D

Finally snowing in Calne, well has been on and off for a couple of hours now.

According to some Highways Agency contacts I have, its working it's way South West. When I spoke to them about 7:30 ish, Luton was getting dumped on (and boy does it need dumping on  :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: ), and when I spoke to one of my collegues, who has just been at the Highways Agency Office at Godstone, the North West London area was getting a good hammering as well.

We'll probably get it all overnight and have a lovely blanket of the white stuff in the morning, just in time for me to battle through to take the missus to work at RUH Bath, who have very kindly informed all their staff, that if they don't make it in and use the weather as an excuse, they'll dock them a days pay. Also, if the staff wish to stay overnight and be conscientious they've kindly provided beds for them at the Hospital..........for a charge!!!!!

Our wonderful NHS Foundation Hospitals
