Had a super Christmas dinner at my younger sister's today, the only problem being I arrived there as a fat sod and came away a very fat sod :food:
As per my standing order to the rellies I now have a nice amount of vouchers for my favourite model railway emporium in Sheffield. Trouble is they came complete with enough chocolate items to put me back in Blackpool hospital! :worried:
Yeah - I know I don't have to consume them but it would be churlish not to

A load of books - nothing railwayish - for a change. My favourite being Terry Gilliam's autobiography.

I got nothing I guess I must have been a naughty boy or something, but if I ever meet the FAT FELLA in the RED suit, I'm going to kick him in the Christmas Puddings.  :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

Ditape

I got nothing today but I had all the goodies for my winter project, a couple of weeks ago.
Diane Tape

daffy

Some small items from Oxford Diecast, my favourite film on DVD - Local Hero, some bits and bobs, a suitably crazy Kylo Ren Light Sabre Toothbrush (you have to have one pressy that's just nuts!), and finally a large impetus to go on a diet that will be cunningly disguised as a New Year Resolution. The latter is now an annual event, and as ever will probably end in much the same way as my diary entries did when I was young: started in earnest, gradually fading to illegible one liners and finally blank pages. If I remember rightly the first blank page would be on or about the 12th of January.

Like you Diane, a host of goodies have recently been purchased so Mrs Daffy and I agreed on a no-present Christmas, though family bought the ones I did receive today.

Seems you must have been a bad boy so I suggest you kick the Domestic Overlord in the profiteroles as you may as well be really in disgrace.

I received a book called 'Exploring Britain's Lost Railways' from my wife.  Looks good, although nothing local to me which is a shame.  Also another mug, Rammstein album that I didn't have......and socks etc.  :D

I seem to have been luckier than most: Santa brought me a Dukedog, a Fruit D, and a pack of Easi-Shunt medium-arm couplings.  :claphappy:  Just got to finish wiring Henllan and I'll be able to start shunting between stations.
Perhaps the proof that there is intelligent life in outer space is that they haven't contacted us.
