One day God calls down to Noah and says "Noah, I want you to make me a new Ark".
Noah replies, "No probs God, anything you want after all you're the boss".
But God interrupts, "Ah but there's a catch this time Noah, I want not just a couple of decks, ..... I want 20 decks one on top of the other".
"20 DECKS!", screams Noah, "Well, OK Big Man, whatever you say, should I fill it up with all the animals just like last time?"
"Yep, that's right, well ..... sort of right.......this time I want you to fill it up with fish" God answers.
"Fish?" Queries Noah.
"Yep, fish ... well, to make it more specific Noah, I want Carp, wall to wall, floor to ceiling - Carp!"
Noah looks to the skies, "OK God, let me get this right, you want a New Ark?"
"Check".
"With 20 decks, one on top of the other?".
"Check".
"And you want it full of Carp?".
"Check"
"But why?" asks the perplexed Noah, who was slowly but surely getting to the end of his tether.
"Well...." says God, "I just thought it would be nice to have a Multi-Storey Carp Ark"

The original one has been restored and is alive and well at the Chiswick House Lantern Festival.

Hasn't reached us in North Hampshire yet.
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

At least the garden looks tidy at last.
I'm not sure if life is passing me by, or trying to run me over.

Yes, I'm quite divided. The child within is always pleased to open the curtains to snow. :bounce: But the adult me knows what chaos it brings. >:(

I was wondering what your experience might be with Traintrax. I ordered stuff from them 10 days ago, got a "despatched" email one day later, but still have not received any consignment. Is that par for the course?

That's unusual in my experience over the last year.. I suggest you email or call Keith at TrainTrax as I have always had efficient service from him. The Christmas delivery period is always a little fraught with some delays, but 9 days from despatch I would consider excessive.

I would definitely contact Keith. I have ordered quite a few bits from him over the last year and I do not think any of his packets have taken nine days to get to me here in Ireland.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Definitely contact Keith. The only time it has taken more than a few days was when he was on holiday and he gave notice in advance. Even then he monitored his emails.
