Awesome film, an all time classic. Brings back some nice memories watching this with my mum and dad.
I believe hornby did a model of this not so long ago.

I'll see if I can get a picture of it.....

It can also be downloaded via Sky+ On Demand although some of the programmes showing up after I had typed in the first 3 letters also sounded interesting. I declined though and selected Planet Rock instead

Quality film, even more so as most of it was filmed only 8 miles away from home...I have already done the 'visit every scene' thing. Of course working for a bus company I have a conflict of interest.... The old Bedford OB is a wonderful old bus, but it's the evil new bus in the film, but I think trains will always win in my heart !
If it's got rails... you have my full, undivided attention - Steam, diesel and electric, 'tis all good !

No chance I can create a running Thunderbolt, so it will have to be a 14XX when the time comes!

Just finished watching the film, the oldies are the best.

I have been trying to watch this for the last 3 nights on my Kindle in bed but keep falling asleep  before the end. I will have to try and download it and watch during the day.

Watched this last night - great film. Was wondering if there would be mention of it on here when I was watching it, and here I find it.
