Just imagine how many Ford Escorts, Cortinas etc they would sell if they produced them. I really think they need to catch up with their OO range especially for the 1970/80's

a range of Micros would be nice (even in 1-76 scale) , that's Pigs , Strokers and Bubbles . the KR200 is out and about albeit in the larger scale's .

I am absolutely in need of some 70/80's British cars for my layout. Some BL, Ford & Vauxhall varieties would be wonderful. I need well over a hundred probably 2 or more hundred over the next couple of years.  I'm living in hope......

Worth emailing Oxford Diecast with a well thought out list of requests. Most of the N range rides on the back of the research already undertaken for the 00 and 0 ranges. They are starting to plan their 2017 release programme now.

A well argued case is more likely to bear fruit than a wishlist.

I received an email from Collectors Gazette magazine today with the heading photo showing 7 new N scale models which were displayed at the Nurenburg trade show.

These included two decorations on the Commer Commando coach (RAF and BOAC), The AA BSA motorcycle and sidecar, the Scania fire engine (Sussex), the Transit van (low roof with orange roof beacons in AA livery), the Mercedes Benz Sprinter ice cream van (Walls), and the Austin Tilly.

The quality of the items seems to be the equal of the larger scale models.

Video here showing a variety of new releases but none of the N ones, although Lyndon Davies (Taff) the MD of Oxford does make some comments about the N range at 2 minutes into the video.

The modern Post Office/AA vans look great, ideal for modern image layouts.

Post office? I thought it looked like an ice cream van?  :(

I'm glad they have done the Mercedes Benz van as a future model could be a DPD courier van that are very common on today's road networks in the UK.

Would not mind Oxford Diecast adding this body shape to the range in their May announcements. This is the new Rietze one at1:160 but Oxford already do similar in 1:76
